Public Art Committee Recruitment
UPDATE: The Arts Area is pleased to announce that two of its Board members, John Machado and Leslie Matamoros, were appointed to the Rancho Cucamonga Public Art Committee at the December 20th City Council meeting.

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is now seeking interested individuals to serve on the newly formed Public Art Committee. The City is looking for two (2) individuals with a strong interest in the arts, having a working knowledge of, and represent, to the extent reasonably possible, one or more arts disciplines. Duties include advising the City Council regarding the selection, purchase, placement, and maintenance of art installed by the City or on City property.

Claremont Public Art Committee
The Arts Area was invited by the Claremont Public Art Committee to give a presentation on its mission and the newly launched Inland Empire Arts Directory. The committee had been considering the possibility of developing a directory in order to better communicate with and serve the Claremont art community. The directory created by The Arts Area will now be able to serve that need. The Arts Area looks forward to partnering with the City of Claremont in promoting and supporting the arts of our local region.
